Renovation of a municipal facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project includes carpet replacement, trim replacement and wall painting, which will require shifting, lifting of office furniture per phase. Also included is the replacement of vinyl stair treads and vinyl flooring at stair landings and limited wall repairs prior to painting. The building will be occupied at all times during normal working hours, and it is anticipated the work to be conducted in fourteen phases. All carpet and carpet mastic will be Owner furnished and stored in Contractor furnished storage container on site. . MBE/WBE/SDVE Goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10%, and SDVE 3%. NOTE: Only MBE/WBE firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity as of the date of bid opening, or SDVE(s) meeting the requirements of Section 34.074, RSMo and 1 CSR 30-5.010, can be used to satisfy the MBE/WBE/SDVE participation goals for this project.
