The Mescalero Apache Tribe Housing Department (MATHD) is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to complete roofing replacements on 10 houses situated on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. The scope of work includes: Replace Roofs on Units located at the Pena and Carrizo Trails Subdivisions on the Mescalero Apache Tribe. Contractors are required to provide costs for both materials and labor for this project. Project shall include: Replacement of Roofs from Shingles to Metal Roofing. In addition, replacement of underlayment such as 2x4 on rafters, ply-board, felt paper, fascia, drip edge and rain gutters (all as needed), with all vent pipes and chimney pipes to be replaced as well (as needed). All and any removal/replacements will be based on an as needed basis for each home. For the purpose of this RFP, please delineate the cost of these items separately and assume a worst-case scenario and include replacements of all these items on each house. MATHD will provide a scope of work and technical specifications for this project for the 10 units selected Firms or individuals wishing to submit proposals may request additional information from MATHD by calling (575) 464-9235, or by faxing to (575) 464-4705. MATHD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all deficiencies.
