Description: Provide painting labor and materials for Beaverdale Elementary. The purpose of the document is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide products / services for the selected Whitfield County Schools System. Question Deadline 04/16/2025 Response to questions posted April 18, 2025 The Whitfield County School System reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals received. 1. Wall paint is to be Sherwin-Williams Precat. Local Dalton Sherwin Williams keeps records on all Whitfield County Schools paints and colors used. Our preference is for contractor to use the Dalton store if possible. 2. All colors are to be determined by Whitfield County Schools. 3. All surfaces are to have 2 coats. 4. Exterior of building - all doors and frames, metal windows and hand rails. Shall be sanded, primed and painted Pewter Cast Industrial Enamel. Exterior sheet rock ceiling shall be sanded and painted color to match existing paint color. 5. Interior of building - all door frames (hallway and room side), windows (hallway side only), and hand rails painted with Pewter Cast Industrial Enamel, hallway walls and sheet rock ceilings, gang restroom walls and ceilings to match existing paint colors. No offices, classrooms, classroom restrooms, closets, storage rooms, etc..... 6. Patch sheetrock all interior and exterior before painting if necessary. 7. Any Murals to be left or painted over shall be determined when that area of the facility is scheduled for paint. Painting around Murals shall be done like a picture frame (straight line from ceiling to floor). 8. Remove all bulletin board, removeable decor from hallway walls, paint behind, and reinstall back to original locations. These shall be discussed and pointed out in the mandatory pre-bid walk-through. 9. Any furniture in hallways shall be moved away from wall, paint behind, and moved back
