This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is being solicited as a 100 small business . Routine dredging project to address shoaling in the Manistique River and Harbor. Material removed will be placed nearshore for beach nourishment. Hydraulically dredge up to 92,500 CY from STA 0+00 to STA 46+00 to 12 ft Maintained Project Depth, plus 1 ft of allowable over dredge tolerance. Place material nearshore 7,000 ft southwest from the west breakwater along the Lake Michigan shoreline between the OHWM and 10 ft depth contour. Place material in the water from the deepest allowable depth as currently approved, and shoreward without allowing the material to pile within 1 foot below current water levels to alleviate concerns of blowing sand with the City of Manistique and MDOT. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 36.204, DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF ION PROJECTS, THE MAGNITUDE OF ION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT IS BETWEEN 1,000,000 AND 5,000,000. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than October 31, 2025. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises and option dredging are to be completed, inspected and accepted by the Government no later than October 31, 2025. The Bidder Inquiry System will stop receiving new inquiries ten (10) business days before the bid due date in order to ensure adequate time is allotted to form an appropriate response and amend the if necessary. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
