Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Penn Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Paving Contract: Furnish and place approximately 1,575 Tons Asphalt Wearing Course. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid on the project. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Incidental to the above items is mobilization and demobilization, cleaning and sweeping of roadway prior to applying tack coat, milling of paving notches at beginning, endings and all paved drivew ays and paved intersections and picking up and disposal of all milled joint materials, furnish and place Asphalt tack coat on existing roadway, sealing all finished joints. Yellow temporary centerline pavement marking tape skip lines (for Bald Top road) from a manufacturer listed in Bulletin 15 and Traffic Control according to the Publication 408 Section 901. Municipality will supply and install utility risers. Coordinate utility adjustments with the Municipality.
