Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in McCall, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of the demolition and replacement of the concrete stairs and electric radiant heat system within the stairs at the western boundary of Legacy Park. The staircase consists of 21 total risers laid out in six (7) groups of three (3) steps with a short landing between each set of steps. The staircase connects the sidewalk adjacent to E. Lake Street to the public beach and walkway below adjacent to Payette Lake. The existing concrete stairs are spalling, and the electric radiant heat system has failed and needs replacement. The existing concrete stairs are formed between two concrete ribbon curbs which support the railing. It is assumed but not guaranteed that ribbon curbs and railings can likely be salvaged. The ribbon curb should provide and control the layout and forming of the new staircase concrete. Contractors and subcontractors will be required to show or demonstrate previous experience, certifications, or qualifications with concrete stair and electric radiant heat experience. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, bid bond, or cashier's check in the amount not less than 5% of the total amount bid, payable to the City of McCall. An Idaho Public Works License and documentation are required to submit a bid. Any objections to the contents or terms of the bidding instruction and project plans and specifications shall be raised (3) days prior to the bid opening, or it shall be deemed to have been waived. The City reserves the right to select any combination of the bid alternatives and or reject any and all bids out right as budget necessitates.
