Reference Number 0000381752 The City of Grand Rapids is issuing this Request for Bid (RFB) to obtain the services of a qualified general contractor to provide renovations to Riverside Park Baseball/Softball field, as per the specifications contained herein. Companies may submit a response on any of the items described herein, at their discretion. he City of Grand Rapids is requesting bids from a local qualified general contractor for renovation to Riverside Park baseball/softball field. Renovations include but not limited to rototilling & regrading existing lawn and topsoil, adding new topsoil, field grading, hydromulch seeding, lawn seeding, fertilizing, furnishing new bases, clay batters' boxes and pitching mound, as per the specification's container herein. The successful Contractor(s) shall provide complete services that provide for all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, permits, mobilization, and incidentals required for completion of required project services, fit for the intended use of the City. It is the intent that the services provided include all functions normally considered a part of construction services as per industry standards, whether or not specifically listed herein, including the cleaning up and disposal of all types of materials, using proper procedures including but not limited to MIOSHA, OSHA standards and EPA standards at the bid pricing proposed. General Requirements - Insurance Required All work shall be scheduled and approved by the Project Manager prior to commencement. Coordinate all work with the City's Project Manager, Steve Krogman, in order to minimize disruptions. Work shall be performed during regular business hours. If necessary, work after normal business hours shall be coordinated with the City's Project Manager. All scheduled work shall be approved by the City's Project Manager prior to proceeding with the Work or portions of the Work.
