Site work for a mixed-use development in Merritt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The City of Merritt is seeking up to three qualified civil construction contractors to provide services for the Claybanks Dike and RV Park construction. The purpose of this RFQ is to identify experienced contractors with the necessary expertise, personnel, and equipment to successfully complete such projects while ensuring environmental compliance and project quality. Successful proponents will be invited to provide proposals in response to future Request for Proposals (RFP) to construct related dike and stream restoration works, and utility relocations associated with the Claybanks Dike and RV Park Project. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for civil construction projects that may include but are not limited to: Dike construction. River isolation, in-water isolation Stream restoration and erosion control measures. In-water infrastructure improvements, such as culverts, fish passage systems, and bank stabilization. Underground utility construction. Permitting not completed by Engineer of Record (EOR) Compliance with environmental regulations, including sediment and erosion control measures including Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) inspection and monitoring. Cultural Monitoring.
