Site work for a road / highway in Merritt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to inform the public, including private sector and non-profit organizations, of an opportunity to enter into a contract with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit to supply a variety of transverse line paint and thermoplastic throughout the Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) and its adjacent rest areas. The segment of the Coquihalla Highway that is to receive paint/thermoplastic spans from Boston Bar Bridge (Portia) between Merritt and Hope to Inks Lake Brake Check south of Kamloops (~146km). All transverse line markings within the boundaries are to be completed to Ministry standards including but not limited to the travel lanes, shoulders, on and off ramps, brake checks, pullouts, and rest areas. Please note that chevron gore markings and cross hatching markings are not to be included unless specifically identified within the identified work schedule.
