IDENTIFICATION OF PROJECT: The project consists of two distinct scopes of work, identified as Schedule A and Schedule B. Schedule A constitutes the base bid. Schedule B is a single additive alternate. If the Tualatin Parks and Recreation Department elects to proceed with the additive alternate, all work under Schedule B shall be completed under the same mobilization and within the same Contract Time as Schedule A. Major items of work consist of the following: Schedule A: o Removal of existing concrete stairs, wood stairs, wood retaining wall and wood retaining beams on trail sides. o Replacement of concrete stairs, wood stairs and retaining wall. o Placement of additional aggregate on indicated sections of trail. o Excavation and construction of aggregate for indicated ADA sections of trail Schedule B: o Excavation and construction of aggregate for vehicular section near parking space. o Excavation and construction of aggregate for indicated ADA sections of trail o Construction of Concrete ADA parking stall and concrete ADA sidewalk connection CONTRACT TIME: The Contractor shall commence work within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion must be achieved within 120 calendar days from the start of work, with Final Completion required within 150 calendar days.
