Site work and renovation of a civil project in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes demolition and removal of an aboveground fuel filtration system, construction of a new filtration system, electrical cabling, cabinetry, and incidental related work located at the LP Fuel Farm at Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia. The existing fuel filtration system includes a centrifugal pump, valves, piping, and filtration vessels. Installation of the new fuel filtration system includes a vertical centrifugal pump, three vertical filter/separators, control valves, piping, and supports. All work is located within and existing concrete slab with curb containment. No excavation is required, however; electrical work is included to accommodate the new fuel filtration system and electrical requirements. Offerors who determine that the technical and or contractual requirements of this RFP require clarification(s) in order to permit submittal of a responsive proposal shall submit all questions in writing. PPIs must be submitted in writing to Alethea Lopez-Martinez at alethea.m.lopez-martinez.civ@us.navy.mil with a cc to Kate Arnold at kathryn.l.arnold3.civ@us.navy.mil The cutoff for PPIs is 14 days prior to proposal due date in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due date. Additionally, all inquiries shall be submitted using the Pre-Proposal Inquiry (PPI) form (Attachment G). Do not submit the same inquiry more than once. Please verify that inquiries submitted by you on behalf of your subcontractors are not duplicates. A response will be published via an amendment to https://sam.gov/ and https://piee.eb.mil/. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code: 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction Time for completion: Contract completion date is 270 calendar days. The days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
