The City of Covington, Indiana will receive bids for the 2025 Community Crossing Program, HMA Milling, Resurfacing, and Widening Roadway Maintenance Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. The work shall consist of asphalt milling, hot mix asphalt resurfacing for various streets and all other work necessary for roadway restoration and as included in the construction schedule and specifications for the 2025 Community Crossing Program, HMA Milling and Resurfacing of Roads in Covington, Indiana contract documents. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a copy of the cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Covington, Indiana. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and Indiana labor regulations. The Contractor shall be pre-qualified with INDOT to be considered an eligible bidder. The City of Covington, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids received after that time will be returned.
