The City of West Haven is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction, delivery, and installation of a 12' x 16' vinyl oval gazebo at 6 Rock Street, West Haven, Connecticut. This project is funded in part through the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), and must comply with all applicable state contracting regulations, including those administered by the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO). The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to build, deliver, and install the gazebo structure. Specifications include: _ Structure Size: 12 feet x 16 feet (oval design) _ Material: White vinyl construction _ Roofing: Asphalt shingles with tongue-and-groove (T&G) roof decking _ Decking: PVC (Harbor Gray) _ Railings: Straight spindle railings _ Installation Location: 6 Rock Street, West Haven, CT 06516 For all bids over $50,000, the Bidder must furnish with its bid, a bid guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of its total bid price. A bid guarantee is either: _ A Bid Bond; or _ A Certified Check made payable to: Treasurer, City of West Haven.
