All questions regarding this invitation to bid should be directed by email to Kathy Chambers, Senior Buyer Procurement Analyst, City of West Haven, at kchambers@westhaven-ct.gov. The City of West Haven (here after referred to as, "the city") is soliciting an Invitation to Bid to qualified vendors for the removal and installation of light poles along West Haven's Boardwalk. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it deems such to be in the best interest of the City of West Haven. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. This contract is subject to state set-aside contract compliance requirements. DECD requires the following bonds for this project: A. 5% Bid Bond for projects exceeding $50,000 - Due at time of bid submission If awarded, A. 100% Performance Bond is required. The selected bidder will furnish the City with this bond within 5 days of being awarded the contract. B. 100% Labor & Materials Payment Bond for contracts exceeding $100,000. C. If a construction manager is employed, any subcontracts exceeding $100,000 shall be bonded or provided via certified check.
