The work includes partial demolition & removal of existing building to extents defined. Asbestos abatement may be necessary and will be confirmed by City prior to requests for proposal. Partial demolition & removal is to include all building components outside a defined 3'-0" perimeter slab saw-cut as shown on the Scope Exhibit. Manufacturers or Suppliers submitting a proposal for this equipment must complete a qualification statement with the proposal. Qualification statements should explain how long the company has been completing similar work and list all prior projects and references. Information provided in the qualification statement will be used in the evaluation of the proposals. RIGHTS RESERVED The City of Fennimore reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in any proposal in the best interests of the project. Demolition & removal off site should be included in the quote. The City may be able to assist with furnishing a local dump site for non-clean fill to include concrete debris and unsuitable soils removed during foundation demolition, and removed existing building materials to include scrap metal, wood, and plastics. Electric power and gas will be disconnected by City prior to demolition work, with electric main being available for reconnection by electric contractor furnished under this contract as a part of quote.
