Renovation of an educational facility in Merced, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The existing sanitary sewer lift station was constructed as part of the 2020 Project to serve the lower portion of the campus. The campus has grown beyond the current lift station's capacity. This upgrade project will consist of the construction of a new wet well, installation of three new pumps, dedicated emergency power, increased electrical capacity and dedicated data feeds in conjunction with modifications to the e..isting sewer system to utilize the existing forced main The e..isting lift station will continue to operate for the duration of the new list station's construction, with a temporary bypass needed at the critical point of system cut over. The project site will be to the immediate north of the existing lift station and will require modifications to the adjacent storm detention basin. Estimated construction cost: $3,300,000
