Renovation of a laboratory facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Project: HEPA Filters for Labs 428 and 440 Description: The project will add HEPA filtration to the exhaust of BSL-3 laboratories, 428 (885sf) and 440 (892sf) located in the CVM Research Building, 1051 William Moore Drive, to ensure all potentially infectious aerosols from respiratory pathogens are properly filtered before being exhausted. Design Process: The selected firm will work through the North Carolina State University Design and Construction. The process will include normal involvement of the State Construction Office. Project Site: The project is located at 1051 William Moore Drive in the West Campus Precinct. Pre-Submittal Meeting: A Pre-submittal Meeting will NOT be held. Questions / Proposal Submittal: For the selection process to be as objective as possible, do not contact members of the Board of Trustees, or any university officials other than the project manager.
