Reference Number 0000382586 uestion Acceptance Deadline 04/28/2025 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes Description The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified Roofing Contractors (here and after called “Design-Builder”) to provide Design-Build Services for the School District of Palm Beach County in the event of a Disaster. Design-Builder shall be licensed by the State of Florida, to perform Roofing Disaster Recovery Services. Proposers shall be prequalified by the School Board pursuant to SREF Chapter 4.1 prior to the Proposal Due Date to submit a proposal. PROPOSALS SHOULD BE BASED UPON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION OF WORK A specific scope of work will be provided for each project as needed in the event of a Disaster. Whenever services are required, awarded Design-Builders will be requested to submit a Project Specific Design-Build Base Cost Proposal. All pricing will be to provide the design, permitting and construction necessary to deliver a 100% completed project. Design-Builders shall perform re-roofing, waterproofing and roofing repair for School District of Palm Beach County facilities following the occurrence of a disaster. Following a disaster, a specific Scope of Work will be provided for each facility (project) and Work will be assigned on a project by project basis by District Emergency Response Personnel. Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements set forth in the Permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, State Requirements Florida Accessibility Codes, District Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 6A-2, Florida Building Code, and all other applicable specifications, including knowledge of “Title 44 CFR Emergency Management and Assistance” (with special emphasis on section 13.36 Procurement) and the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via Online NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M., EDT on APRIL 28, 2025. Only questions received via Online by the time and date specified will be answered by Addendum and posted on Online.
