2025 Annual Sidewalk Program Package 2 The project consists of the sidewalk and pathway replacement and construction within the City of Valparaiso. Other construction activities include: ADA ramp removal and replacement, concrete aprons, and minor concrete curb work. Contractor will also be responsible for the maintenance of traffic Any questions are due (3) days before bids are due. Question Deadline 04/22/2025 There will be no pre-bid meeting for these packages. Contractors shall familiarize themselves with the field conditions and locations in preparation for their bids. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form, and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security . A certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Valparaiso or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. . The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
