Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the sidewalk and pathway replacement and construction within the City of Valparaiso. Other construction activities include: ADA ramp removal and replacement, concrete aprons, and minor concrete curb work. Contractor will also be responsible for the maintenance of traffic. Question Deadline 05/20/2025 Any questions are due (3) days before bids are due. There will be no pre-bid meeting for these packages. Contractors shall familiarize themselves with the field conditions and locations in preparation for their bids. A certified or cashier s check payable to the City of Valparaiso or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
