Renovation of a detention facility in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one prime contract with the Owner based on bids received. American Structure point, Inc., will provide bidding assistance only for this project. Porter County will have in-house staff managing the technical aspects, review, and construction oversight throughout the Bidding and Construction phases. The site can be made accessible during the bidding period in order to verify existing conditions only. Any clarifications, questions, or requests for information (RFI) must be submitted in writing to the Owner and American Structure point. Bid security is waived by the Owner. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contract. Contractors submitting bids for the performance of any Work as specified in this building Project should make such Bids to Porter County Board of Commissioners. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts.
