Site work and addition to an educational facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 33,300-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
New Addition of Earl of March Secondary School located at 4 The Parkway, Ottawa. The project is a 2-Story, 3085m2 addition, attached to the Earl of March Secondary School with 18 classrooms per floor. This addition has concrete foundations with piles. Concrete slabs with steel deck. The envelope of the school is metal studs and brick veneer with curtain walls system glazing. The projects includes removing asbestos from the existing building. The scope of work includes the construction of two story addition secondary school. The building is a structural steel frame structure with a exterior of Masonry veneer, and curtain wall and . The gross floor area is approximately 33,207 sq ft addition. Construction for the project is expected to begin in spring 2025 and completion October, 2026. Work at the site is to commence upon contract award. Occupancy of the building is required by October 29, 2026. Roofing, Asphalt, Data Cabling, Asbestos Abatement, Controls and Electrical Subcontractors are prequalified as well. Direct all inquiries to the Project Architect: Xu Feng, Edward J.
