The Project will involve the following: removal of existing pavement and replacement with PCC pavement, erosion control, site grading, site restoration and other related work. Bids security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The following limitations shall apply to this Project: Approximate Start Date: June 2, 2025 Final Completion Date: August 15, 2025 Working Days: 40 days Liquidated Damages: $500 per working day for work extending beyond the specified number of working days and $500 per calendar day for work extending beyond the final completion date Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment bond will be required in the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities. The project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of failed pavement and storm sewer at the Center for Innovation (CFI) in Iowa City, Iowa. Work includes sawcut and removal of existing failed paving, installation of subdrain, subgrade preparation, installation of concrete paving, installation of concrete sidewalk, erosion control, finish grading, site restoration and other related work. at the Center for Innovation (CFI), 2255 N.
