Medical Research Facility - Updates to Accommodate New Scanner in LL60 Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at The Medical Research Facility at 55 South Grand Ave, Iowa City, IA, on the Lower Level. DESIGN PROFESSIONAL: OPN Architects Elizabeth Seiberling 24 1/2 S. Clinton St Suite 1 Iowa City, IA 52240 319-450-1991 eseiberling@opnarchitects.com Project consists of site preparation for the installation of a new CT Scanner. Work includes removal and replacement of a lead-lined door panels, adjacent masonry, and some finishes. Work also includes expansion of the existing isolated pad and expansion of an existing floor trench. Electrical work includes power connections as well as raceway installation for use by the Owner's equipment vendor. Mechanical and plumbing work includes disconnection of existing CT and installation of new process chilled water loop for supply for the new equipment. The New process loop will utilize heat exchanger with the campus chilled water loop.
