Sealed unit price bids will be received by the City of Forest Park Georgia from qualified contractors for the City's LINDA WAY SIDEWALK REHAB. The work consists of furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services required for a complete project. This project includes but is not limited to providing the construction of a complete installation of concrete sidewalks, ADA compliant pedestrian ramps, storm water structures, storm water drainpipe, asphalt paving and thermoplastic striping within the City. Work is to include all traffic control, demolition, erosion and sediment control, and all other activities and appurtenances to provide a complete "Linda Way Sidewalk Rehab" project in Forest Park, Georgia. Any questions pertaining to the requirements of the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications, either procedural or technical, shall be submitted via Online, by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier's check made payable to the City of Forest Park, Georgia. The entire Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Forest Park as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid and provide insurance coverage as required in the Contract Documents.
