Project Description The City of Emporia seeks sealed bids from qualified contractors for annual asphalt maintenance. Asphalt maintenance shall include but is not limited to milling, overlay, and striping of existing city streets. Scope of Work The contract shall cover the total cost of all labor, insurance, permits, materials, personnel, transportation, supplies, traffic control, etc., as necessary for or incidental to the performance of the work as follows and in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions as specified herein The Project includes all streets milled at 1 1/2inch and resurfaced and with 1 1/2 asphalt overlay of SM 12.5D or equivalent surface asphalt on the city streets listed below. Milling materials retained by the city . Replacement of existing pavement markings to be invoiced separately. The work shall be done in accordance with VDOT Road and Bridge Standards. The work is to be completed by June 16, 2025.
