Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Emporia, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Apron and Taxiway Rehabilitation - Phase 2 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a deposit of cash or by a certified check payable to the Emporia-Greensville Airport Commission and drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Virginia, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the required Contract will be executed and the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond furnished within ten (10) days after receipt of written notice of formal award of Contract. It is the intent of the Emporia-Greensville Airport Commission to award the entire project, however, the award of this contract is contingent upon the availability of local and state funds. The Emporia-Greensville Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
