The work, in general, consists of placing slurry seal surfacing, traffic striping, and pavement markers on various roads in Community Service Area 66. Other items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
