Yuba Water Agency is Requesting Quotes from licensed and DIR registered landscape maintenance companies to service 4 of our Yuba County locations on a routine basis. The Yuba County Water Agency (Agency) is submitting a request for quotes (RFQ) from contractors to provide landscape maintenance services at four (4) Agency properties. The term of the contract will be three (3) years with the option to extend up to two (2) additional one-year terms. Contractors must attend a mandatory site visit meeting that will be held to discuss this RFQ, the scope of services, selection process, schedule, and elements of the contract. The time, date, and location of the meeting are specified in Section 3, Schedule. The contractor is required by law to be licensed and regulated by the Contractors' State License Board, as well as registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and must pay the prevailing wage. The Yuba County Water Agency (Agency) is a premiere water agency in California known for its innovative and progressive approach to projects and partnerships. The Agency invests heavily in the community and is truly helping power a brighter future for all of Yuba County through its primary mission areas of flood risk reduction, water supply reliability, fish habitat protection and enhancement, hydroelectric power generation and recreation at New Bullard's Bar. The scope of services includes all work to perform landscape maintenance at four (4) Agency locations. Landscape locations are subject to update by the Agency at any time. Work hours for services will vary by location. Timing and schedules for each location will be discussed with Agency representative prior to the start of services. 4 The contractor shall be able to provide personnel who have been fully trained in all phases of landscaping and irrigation systems operation, maintenance, adjustment and repair. Contractor's personnel should also have familiarity with all types of components including irrigation controllers, valves, moisture sensing devices and sprinkler heads of a variety of brands and models. The contractor and staff shall have expertise and experience in vegetation management, irrigation, water management, landscaping, pest control (without harmful chemicals), soils, and fertilizers. The complete list of the scope of services and the requirements for such are included in Exhibit A. The scope of service included in Exhibit A will become part of the executed agreement Question Deadline 05/28/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Question responses by Addenda, posted online to website on: June 4, 2025. Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted by email on or before date and time listed in Section 3, Schedule. All emails must have "Landscape Maintenance RFQ Question" as their subject. Emails not clearly labeled may be overlooked and not responded to. Questions will not be accepted by any other means. Agency reserves the right to: a. Reject any or all bids, or solicit additional bids. b. Request clarification of any submitted information. c. Not select any bid and not enter into any agreement, or c d. Cancel or amend this process at any time. e. To award more than one (1) contract, if in the best interest of the Agency. f. Request additional information from contractor prior to award and perform interviews. g. Waive any irregularity or immaterial deviation in any bid, which in doing so, shall in no way modify the documents or excuse the contractor from full compliance with the contract requirements if the contractor is awarded the contract.
