Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bethany, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work includes the construction of approximately 4,545 feet of new 4 wide ADA compliant sidewal running from the intersection of N 17th Street and Alder Street to N. 22nd Street and Alder Street. This project also encompasses the intersection of Alder Street and Oakland Avenue. Within this area, all existing sidewalk will be removed and replaced along with the addition of crosswalks and truncated domes. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 6%. MODOT - Constructing Sidewalk Replacement Project Calendar Days: 90 Days aftertraffic control is installed or a Completion Date of: November 14,2025, whichever comes first.
