Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bethany, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
Bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List and have the contractor questionnaire on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors must provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program to be completed by on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. A certified cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% must be submitted with each proposal. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. PROPOSED WORK: The proposed work, hereinafter called the work, includes: Demolition of an existing bridge and the construction of a new 100-foot single span prestressed concrete NU girder bridge. Guardrail, riprap, and permanent erosion control will be installed along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Design Professional in writing. Replies will be issued by written addenda to all parties on the planholder list.
