Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Bethany, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.

The work includes the removal of existing Bridge #4750002 over Sampson Creek and the construction of new Bridge #4750002-1. Tasks involve disposal of existing materials, grading, drainage, traffic control, pile driving, installation of precast beams, and other miscellaneous work necessary to construct the bridge. All bids must be submitted on the provided forms. Bidders must use labor paid at no less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal or state wage rate, whichever is higher). Bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, with the contractor questionnaire on file 7 days before bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors signing a contract must ensure that on-site employees complete a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program or an approved similar program within sixty days of starting work. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond of 5% must accompany each proposal. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, but the right to reject any or all bids is reserved. No 2nd tier subcontracting is allowed on this project.
