Provision of geotechnical consulting services on an as-needed or emergency basis. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from consultant firms ("Proponents") with expertise in geotechnical engineering for the provision of geotechnical consulting services on an as-needed or emergency basis, is underway. The District is seeking proponents with expertise in one or both of the following areas. 1. Geotechnical support on District infrastructure projects, including completion of site investigations, preparation of geotechnical reports, and completion of various geotechnical designs (retaining wall, shoring & excavation, foundation, etc.), and completion of EOR reviews during construction. 2. Slope stability and other geohazard assessments, including risk mitigation recommendations. These services may be required on an emergency basis. The District intends to retain three (3) firms to provide geotechnical consulting services as a result of this RFSO, but reserves the right to select more (or fewer) at its sole discretion. Proponents interested in this opportunity are invited to submit a Proposal. All enquiries related to this Bid Opportunity are to be submitted electronically.
