This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25625Q0601 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA requires a contractor to complete monthly fire extinguishers inspections, annual fire extinguisher inspections and certifications and replace damaged and or malfunctioning fire extinguishers as required. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain service contract to ensure Overton Brooks VA Medical Center fire extinguishers are fully in accordance with state, local and federal regulations. Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside applies to all items in this solicitation. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.
