Work generally includes asphalt paving, asphalt color coat, concrete paving, integral curb at walk, curb at playground, poured-in-place surfacing, chain linkfence, orna men tal aluminum fence, play ground equipment, picnic shel ter, shade sail, bench, picnic table, play ground under drainage, drain cleanout, drink ingfoun tain, back flow preventer, shade trees, shrubs, bperen ni als, and lawn restoration. Minority busi ness firms are encouraged to submit bids. Successful contract bidders are also encour aged toutilize minor ity busi nesses as sub-contrac tors forsupplies, equip ment, services, and construction. This project is being financed, in part, with funds fromthe Illi nois Depart ment of Natural Resources, "OpenSpace Lands Acqui si tion & Devel op ment" (OSLAD)grant program. The undersigned bidder has carefully examined the plans and specifications for Hibbard Park OSLAD Development, in Wilmette, Illinois as prepared by Upland Design Ltd. and having carefully examined the site and completely familiarized him/herself with local conditions affecting the cost of the work: hereby states that he/she will provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, machinery, apparatus and all other means of construction, do all the work and furnish all materials, called for by said plans and specifications in the manner prescribed by in accordance with the requirements of the contract, specification and drawings: and will accept as full and complete payment therefore the base bid amount which is the summation of the cost of the items of work and is equal to the summation of the extension of the unit prices.
