The project area is located in Tuolumne County, CA, south of Highway 108. The work to be performed includes installing approximately 319 Company-furnished water meters with appurtenances, cleanup and removal of debris. Alternative Bid requests include the installation of 25 water meter boxes with appurtenances for the vacant lots. Bids must be submitted on the Companys Bid Forms. Bids received afterthistime will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date. The last day for Contractor request for information/clarifications is May 5, 2025. Question Deadline 05/05/2025 Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the Plans, Specifications or other Contract Documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of Company by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to Company. Such submission, if any, must be sent to Ernesto Meza, by email to emesto@blackwater-eng.com Prospective bidders must contact Ernesto Meza at 209-733-0554 or ernesto@blackwater-eng.com to confirm their attendance and verify instruction to access site. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of Company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Company with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. Award of Contract: Company shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the total Base Bid, plus any combination of zero or more Alternate Bids which are in the Company's best interest to accept to form the basis for comparison of bids and determining the lowest bidder. Company shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder for which Company determines funds will be available at the time of award. Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
