Renovation of a military facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
1. Site Assessment: - Conduct a site assessment to evaluate the existing hot water heaters (gas & electric), including size, capacity, gas line configuration, venting, and plumbing connections. - Specs: Electric water heater 100 -120-gallon working pressure 150 psi. maximum temperature 180. 208 volts 3 phase 50 amps. Gas water heater 100-120-gallon Natural gas 150,000 btu recovery gal. per hour170. Max. working pressure 160 psi. maximum temperature180. Gas pressures in. W.C. 10.5 Min.inlet 4.90. Electrical ratings 120 volts 60HZ 5 amps. - Recommend a replacement unit based on facility needs (e.g., capacity in gallons, BTU rating, energy efficiency). - Provide a detailed quote for the replacement unit, labor, and any additional materials or permits required. - Ensure all repairs comply with local, state, and national fire safety and water utility regulations. 2. Safety Measures: - Implement safety protocols for the repair work, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and traffic control (if the hydrant is near a roadway). - Notify local authorities and residents of any potential water service disruptions during the repair. 3. Remove Existing Units: - Shut off gas and water supply to the existing natural gas hot water heater. - Shut off electricity to both - Drain and disconnect the existing units from gas lines, water lines, and venting system. - Safely remove and dispose of the old hot water heater in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. 4. Replace Components: - Deliver and install a new equivalent commercial gas & electric hot water heaters. - Connect the new natural gas unit to existing gas lines, water lines, electrical (if required) and venting system, ensuring proper fittings and seals. - Connect the new electric unit to existing electrical, water lines ensuring proper fittings. - Install any additional components as needed (e.g., expansion tank, pressure relief valve, seismic straps if required by local code). - Clean the work area, removing any debris or leftover materials. - Contractor responsible for disposing of old hot water heaters LOCATION: 153d Airlift Wing, located at the Cheyenne Regional Airport, 217 Dell Range Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82009.
