Any ambiguities or inconsistencies shall be brought to the attention of PCD Contact Person in writing via the Q&A tab Seminole County Board of County Commissioners (OWNER) is seeking a consultant to provide architectural and engineering services for the development of a new multi-story office administration building with a potential integral parking garage (PROJECT) on 7+/- acres of OWNER property located at 4300 N US 17, in Sanford, at Seminole County Five Points Complex. The identified site is defined by the existing roadways of N US 17, County Home Road, Eslinger Way, and Senator Lane, this area is ready for development with minor demolition services required. The A/E shall provide architectural, engineering, and construction administration services for the project. Services shall include the development of a complete set of construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and electrical drawings; site plan; project specifications; and all other documents needed to obtain the required construction permits for the project. A construction management company will be procured by the OWNER to support the A/E by providing both preconstruction and construction services. The performance of these services will be under the Construction Manager-at-Risk delivery method by a Construction Manager (CONSTRUCTION MANAGER). The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER is to be responsible for construction project scheduling and coordination in both preconstruction and construction phases and generally responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of the construction project. At the OWNERS's option, a third-party Owner's Representative may be procured to assist with overall project facilitation. The OWNER will select the A/E in accordance with the provisions of the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.0SQ, Florida Statutes. Authorization for performance of professional services by the A/E under this continuing contract will be in the form of written Work Order(s) issued and executed by the OWNER and signed by the A/E. The OWNER makes no covenant or promise as to the number of available projects or that the A/E will perform any project for the OWNER during the life of this continuing contract. Each Work Order must include the professional services to be performed, deliverables, completion time, dollar amount and all necessary information and documents for the work authorization.
