Site work and paving for a road / highway in Middleburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
contracts: Paving: Furnish and place 966 TONS of 19 MM Binder Course, 322 TONS of Shoulder Backup, and 291 Tons of 9.5 MM Scratch Course. An asphalt escalator clause is included in this contract. PA Prevailing Wage Rates Apply. Seal Coat: Furnish and place 6,440 SY of Seal Coat, 15,122 SY of Double Seal Coat. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. A certified check or performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, made payable to the municipality will be required from the lowest responsible bidder for each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
