Site work and paving for a civil project in West University Place, Texas. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Drainage improvements will include a new storm sewer trunkline extending from Bissonnet to Brays Bayou, internal storm sewer improvements, roadway paving and waterline replacement for various streets on the west side of the City. This is a multi-phase project with construction of the trunkline to Brays Bayou starting in 2026. The design and construction of internal roadway drainage and paving improvements will be conducted in phases starting in 2027 with an estimated construction completion in 2032. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program. As of January 28, 2026, this project is in the early stages of the design process. A timeline for bidding and construction has yet to be announced. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
