Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in West University Place, Texas. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will consist of constructing a new 1,500 gallon per minute (gpm) groundwater well on the site of former Water Well No. 7. The property is within the City of West U at the southeast corner of Bissonnet St. and Weslayan St. The project also includes ~2800 linear feet of new 12" waterline to convey the groundwater from the well to the Milton Water Plant. Contingency is built into construction. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program. As of July 21, 2025, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
