Lowell Construction but no awarded amount available.** Project Location: The project is in the City of Castle Pines, generally west of I-25 and north of Castle Pines Parkway in Douglas County, Colorado. Scope of Work: Work includes new pumps, motors, and a backup generator at Lift Station 1 and a new package station at Lift Station 5. Work includes electrical and controls upgrades, structural modifications, new emergency overflow vaults, and wet well improvements at Lift Station 1 and Lift Station 5. Work also includes approximately 1600 linear feet of new 8-inch gravity sewer, approximately 2000 feet of new 10-inch force main, and decommissioning Lift Station 2. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check payable to Castle Pines North Metropolitan District shall be submitted with each bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept that proposal or combination of proposals, if any, which in its sole and absolute judgment, will under all circumstances best serve the District's interest. No proposal will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the District Board of Directors. Project Location: Scope A of the Lift Station Upgrades Project will include Lift Station 1, Lift Station 2, and Lift Station 5 in the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District, Castle Pines, Colorado. The proposed gravity sanitary sewer is located along Hidden Point Blvd. and Serena Dr. between Lift Stations 1 and 2. The proposed sewer force main replacement is along portions of the district's utility easement that runs parallel to Briar Ridge Dr and the Xcel transmission line ROW. Refer to the Construction Drawings for the exact locations. B. Scope of Work: Work includes the installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer along Hidden Point Blvd. and Serena Dr. from Lift Station 2 to Lift Station 1. Lift Station 2 will be demolished as part of this project. The existing pumps at Lift Station 1 will be replaced with a new Gorman-Rupp packaged pump skid. Work at Lift Station 1 also involves additional emergency overflow vault storage, wet well improvements, electrical and SCADA upgrades, instrumentation, a meter on the downstream discharge piping, a new backup generator, a gate and fencing around the electrical equipment, other security upgrades, and adding a temporary pedestrian trial around the site. Work at Lift Station 5 includes replacing the existing pumps with a new GormanRupp packaged pump skid and building. Work at Lift Station 5 also involves additional emergency overflow vault storage, wet well improvements, electrical and SCADA upgrades, instrumentation, a gate, and other security upgrades.
