Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Stanton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work will consist of resurfacing of West Byers Avenue with base repair Westinghouse Drive North Center Street Park and Ride Drive Water Street and North Main Street in New Stanton Borough; Including 1496 Tons of 1 1/2" 9.5mm Wearing Course and 1780 SY of base repair complete in place. Contractor shall use prevailing wages as posted. Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of New Stanton Borough in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race color religion sex national origin or handicap; Addenda if any will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents. Bids may be held by New Stanton Borough for a period of forty five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract. New Stanton Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the biddings.
