The Borough Council of the Borough of New Stanton shall receive sealed bids for the collection, transportation, and proper disposition of municipal waste, recyclables, and Covered (Electronic) Devices (commonly referred to as "Electronic Waste") for residential units located in structures with fewer than four residential units within the Borough of New Stanton. In this bidding process, the Borough is providing prospective bidders with the mandatory requirement for submission of bids for the collection, transportation, and proper disposition of municipal waste, recyclables, and Covered (Electronic) Devices(commonly referred to as "Electronic Waste") for residential units located in structures with fewer than four residential units within the Borough of New Stanton Municipal building, 318 Paintersville Road, New Stanton, Pennsylvania 15672. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check,or a bid bond in a form acceptable to the Borough and in the minimum amount of five thousand ($5,000.00) dollars, together with a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Only one bid security needs to be provided as long as it provides that it applies to all bids submitted by the bidder. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any informalities. the Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
