Reference Number 0000291722 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/04/23 12:00:00 AM NDT Two (2) sets of the following to be completed, one for each site located at 45 McKay Street, and Army Street. .1 Review of existing site information as provided by the owner, including a site map indicating any existing known structures/features. 2 Provide test pit data with a brief geotechnical report for each site, completed with the following: .1 24 test pits to be completed. Test pits shall be located at the areas noted on the site map. .2 Test pits to allow up to 4 meters in depth or to bedrock and/or the water table. Pits to be completed by standard excavation equipment. .3 Test pits to be reinstated to match existing conditions. 4 Note any potential environment concerns that may impact future development of the site such as visual or olfactory anomalies (fuel, trash, abandoned structures or services). .3 Contractor is responsible for all items damaged during digging. NLHC is required by the Public Procurement Regulations under the Newfoundland and Labrador Public Procurement Act to apply a ten percent (10%) reduction to the pricing submitted by provincial suppliers for the purposes of evaluating pricing. This reduction will only be applied when the evaluation includes submissions from non-provincial suppliers. Commercial General Liability Insurance: Without restricting the generality of Section 5- Indemnity hereof, the Contractor shall maintain, at its expense, Commercial General Liability Insurance acceptable to NLHC to protect NLHC against all liabilities or damages in respect of injuries to persons (including injuries resulting in death) in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) with respect to the operations of the Contractor and/or its Sub-Contractors and in respect of damages to property arising out of performance of the Work. This insurance shall include NLHC and the occupant of the property as Additional Insureds. The Contractor shall not commence any work until a Certificate of Insurance, obtained at the Contractor's expense, has been received and approved by NLHC as specified herein.
