Site work for a water / sewer project in Woodstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project involves repairing and replacing damaged pipes, installing two sanitary manholes, reconnecting and cleaning laterals, and restoring the site. Sewer mains with issues such as damage, displacement, sagging, missing sections, and cracks have been identified at ten locations. The project will use SDR 26 PVC pipes in various sizes, including 6", 8", and 10" diameters. Additionally, two sanitary sewer manholes will be constructed. After construction, a video inspection must be conducted to verify the proper installation and confirm that all work meets required standards. Locations- Lail Street, Woodstown, New Jersey. Borton Drive, Woodstown, New Jersey. Lee Street, Woodstown, New Jersey. West Grant Street, Woodstown, New Jersey. Harris Lane, Woodstown, New Jersey. Grange Court, Woodstown, New Jersey. Borton Drive, Woodstown, New Jersey. Easement between E. Grant Street and Bowen Avenue, Woodstown, New Jersey. West Maple Court, Woodstown, New Jersey. Hillcrest Drive, Woodstown, New Jersey. A Pre-Bid conference has not been scheduled for this project. Bidders questions are requested by May 1, 2025. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety from an acceptable surety and a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount but not in excess of $20,000.00. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Owner will award the Contract or reject the bids within sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities or minor defects therein, should it be deemed in the best interest of the Owner, in accordance with Local Public Contracts Law and will determine the lowest responsible and responsive bidder in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the specifications. Document Note: Neither the Owner, nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Note: Bids received from Bidders who have not purchased the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be rejected. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided within the documents in the manner designated therein. Bid date description: Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address labeled "BID for the WOODSTOWN SANITARY SEWER POINT REPAIRS" and addressed to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority, 25 West Avenue, Woodstown, NJ 08098, Attention: Wendy Gallagher, Business Administrator. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelopes containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
