Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Woodstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

**As of February 13th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on February 24th, 2026** 2024 Roadway Improvements Program (Bertha Avenue & Guernsey Place) consists, but not limited to all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all proposed improvements. The project generally entails milling of existing asphalt roadway, new asphalt roadway, curbing, sidewalk, handicap ramp replacements, improvements to the storm sewer system, signage, striping and top soiling / hydro-seeding. Bidders may examine and obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the office of the Borough's Consulting Engineer upon payment of $150.00. Each Bidder must purchase the Bid Documents from the issuing office in order to submit a bid. Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided within the documents in the manner designated therein. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address labeled "2024 Roadway Improvements Program (Bertha Avenue & Guernsey Place)" and addressed to the Borough of Woodstown. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelopes containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Borough. Bids must be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety from an acceptable surety and a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Borough of Woodstown in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount but not in excess of $20,000.00. All bidders are required to provide a copy of the contractors and subcontractors business registration certificate(s). All Contractors and subcontractors must also comply with the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act" and Disclosure of Ownership. The successful bidder shall also comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds must be in a form acceptable to the Borough and be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The successful bidder must comply with Affirmative Action requirements and must furnish an Initial Project Manning Report upon execution of the Agreement. The Borough of Woodstown and the Engineer reserve the right to require a complete financial and experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before furnishing proposal forms or specifications, or before awarding the contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities or minor defects therein, should it be deemed in the best interest of the Borough. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the specifications.
