Flooring Installation - Union Memorial Elementary School For the purpose of purchasing and installing new flooring in Elementary School Building The Board reserves the right to reject any and or all bids and waive, at its discretion, any irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or formalities relative thereto If any bidders should find discrepancies or omissions in the specifications, or be unsure oftheir meaning, inquiry should be directed to the Union Area School District, Attn: Business Manager, 2106 Camden Avenue, New Castle, PA, or by telephoning (724) 658-4775 x. 2303. The Union Area School District has need for the replacement of hard surface flooring and removal of carpet & hard surface flooring within the Elementary School building and replacement of carpet in the Middle/High School Classrooms. Only the specifications or equal listed below will be accepted. o Install wall-to-wall carpet with direct glue down in Middle/High School Building. o Install wall-to-wall LVT as described in Elementary Building. o Installer will remove and dispose ofthe old carpet. o Installer will remove all tile and dispose ofproperly. o Installer will ensure floor is level in areas carpet was removed and hard surface will be replaced. o All debris created by the renovation work is to be removed from the site.
