Bidder will provide a price for application only on a price per square yard. Hopkins County shall supply HFRS-2 and stone. Application rates shall be: Single Layer-HFRS-2 #9 Stone Second Layer-HFRS-2 #9 Stone Third Layer- HFRS-2 #9 Stone @ @ @ @ @ @ 0.5 gal per sq. yd 30 lbs per sq. yd 0.4 gal per sq. yd 20 lbs per sq. yd 0.35 gal per sq. yd 20 lbs per sq. yd Hopkins County shall grade road in preparation for chip and seal. Bidder will adhere to all standards and regulations, safety and otherwise, of the Hopkins County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Revised Statutes. Bidder to furnish necessary equipment to lay, haul, and roll material. Bidder to provide price per hour for grading if needed. Bidder shall provide proof of automobile insurance, general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 and workers compensation upon bid award and acceptance. Bidder must be bonded. Any questions concerning specifications shall be directed to the Engineer. Bid amounts shall remain in force and warranted against increase until July 1, 2026; however, the Hopkins County Fiscal Court may terminate this contract with 30 days written notice. Hopkins County Fiscal Court reserves the right to waive any informality, to accept the lowest or best bid, and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Local resident bidders may be eligible for a Kentucky resident bidders preference pursuant to KRS 45A.
