Site work and paving for a road / highway in Parker, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project would reconstruct the existing French Creek Avenue concrete pavement west of Motsenbocker Road that is distressed and has exceeded its design life. Purpose/Discussion Reconstruct efforts consist of fully removing the roadway pavement section and replacing it. Town roadways are typically designed with a 30-year design life assuming routine maintenance occurs, and traffic projections are correct. As roadways reach the end of their design life, they become very distressed and complaints increase due to ride (potholes, etc.) and noise issues. French Creek is a concrete roadway that was constructed in the early 2000’s. It has exceeded its design life due to traffic exceeding the original projections. As of April 28, 2025, this project is currently under construction.
